I have just 8 more wishes for the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con! Four come today and four will come tomorrow. Today’s wishes are all for the cast of new Netflix series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. It really does seem to be a heavy hitting all star cast and I am really excited to see see even just a couple of them at the shows panel in Hall H. Recently Awkwafina has been really showcasing her fashion chops and I am really excited to continue to see her grow her red carpet repertoire. For the Comic-Con panel for The Dark Crystal I decided to go for the ultimate designer in cool girl chic, a Balenciaga moment. I love this burgundy Balenciaga midi dress printed with delicate paisley motifs which features a directional twisted neckline, an asymmetric draped back, long sleeves, and a black elasticated belt defined the waist and definitely screams Awkwafina’s style as of late. Styling this dress with sleek center parted hair, defined eyes, burgundy lips, and a pair of black Balenciaga ‘BB Logo’ square toe leather slingback chunky kitten heel pumps would definitely make sure this look is chic and cool for Comic-Con. Caitriona Balfe definitely has the potential to deliver major moments on the red carpet, but often I feel like she falls a little flat. I want her to go for a very chic fashion choice wearing this black and white plaid Olivier Theyskens Resort 2020 chiffon midi dress which features a cold shoulder neckline, thick straps, long puffy sleeves, and a curved hemline for the Hall H panel for The Dark Crystal. I think that this could be an incredibly chic moment for Caitriona to bring to life. It almost could be a waste of a look to wear this at Comic-Con, but I am always about upping the level of fashion for this event. A wavy bob, defined eyes, red lips, and a pair of black, white, and silver Jimmy Choo ‘Sophina’ pointed toe mules would definitely make this look absolute perfection from head to toe. Natalie Dormer has rocked a Comic-Con stage or two in the past and I would definitely expect to see her take on the San Diego Convention Center for this years edition to promote The Dark Crystal. I decided to go with a 70’s meets Little House on the Prairie ensemble picking this eggplant purple Coach 1941 Spring 2019 RTW long sleeve dress which features sheer embroidered lace panels, ruffled shoulders, long sleeves, silver chain details, and a flared hem for Natalie. She tends to be more interested in some of the lesser known labels, so I wonder if she would even turn to Coach for a red carpet like this. I do think this dress would look absolutely gorgeous on Natalie styled with hair pushed back tucked behind the ears, defined eyes, rose pink lips, a pair of black Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Yasmin’ sheer paneled pointed toe pumps, and a black Maison Vaincourt belt with silver hardware. Finishing out today’s list is the gorgeous Nathalie Emmanuel whom I want to see wearing this rust and rose pink Victoria Beckham Pre-Fall 2019 sleeveless racer back midi dress which features a fitted bodice, A-line silhouette, and a flared handkerchief hemline. We have seen a slowing of celebrities wearing Victoria Beckham’s designs for the last three or four years and while I mostly understand why, but this very chic moment would be perfect for a Comic-Con fashion moment especially when styled with fully bouncy curls, natural makeup, burgundy lips, and a pair of bronze Tamara Mellon ‘Pipe’ metallic leather sandals.

The 2019 San Diego Comic-Con will take place from Thursday July 18, 2019 to Sunday July 21, 2019.
