I just have 3 more wishes for films screening at the 2019 Berlin Film Festival. With the lack of a plethora of a-list Hollywood stars in the films selected for this years festival I am setting expectations high for the stars who are in the films screening at this years edition. VICE didn’t have a big promo tour and I wonder if that is why Amy Adams hasn’t had the awards season some were expecting her to have. The film is screening at this years Berlinale and I am hoping that we see Amy jet off to the German capital to promote the film and deliver a really chic moment on the red carpet.I haven’t loved anything that Amy has worn so far this awards season. I don’t think she has picked the right gowns for the different red carpets. It is a shame because I know she has the potential to really knock my socks off. I think she would really wow me on the red carpet at the Berlin Film Festival premiere of VICE wearing this royal blue Elie Saab Spring 2019 Couture strapless ball gown which features origami draping, a sweetheart neckline, a faux wrap style skirt, and a side split. Amy in Elie Saab in the past has been a good match and I definitely think that she would look stunning in this glamorous creation. It has the potential to be one of Amy’s best red carpet moments ever. Add smokey eyes, red lips, a sleek updo, royal blue Manolo Blahnik ‘Nadira’ crystal trimmed satin pointed toe pumps, and Cartier jewels including simple diamond drop earrings and a statement diamond and sapphire collar necklace to ensure this look is perfection from head to toe. With that lack of big stars attending the 2019 Berlin Film Festival I have high expectations for jury president Juliette Binoche to really deliver several really chic moments on the red carpet over the course of the festival. Her stylist loves Alexis Mabille and so do I. I believe that Alexis Mabille is one of the most underrated of the Paris couturiers and I want to see more stars embrace his designs on the red carpet. I love the idea of Juliette giving us femme fatale glamour wearing this black pearled jersey Alexis Mabille Spring 2019 Couture bustier sheath gown encrusted with matching Lyon lace. I would have the lace that trims the sweetheart neckline trimmed down so it was barely there so that it could be paired with a statement diamond and emerald Chopard Red Carpet Collection bib necklace to add dramatic sparkle around the neck. Finishing the look with classic black Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle Follies’ pointed toe pumps, a sleek vintage inspired updo, smokey eyes, and red lips would all ensure that Juliette delivers an absolutely glamorous moment on the Berlinale red carpet.

The 2019 Berlin Film Festival opens on Thursday February 7, 2019 and runs through Sunday February 17, 2019.
